Today is Sherlock Holmes' 155th birthday! Last year I tortured myself for not being able to remember it and celebrating it properly. And as you can see, it's not a mistake I'm willing to commit again! This article I wrote is more of L but I compared him to Sherlock and I think many of you might find this amusing. I wrote this back in 2007 and never got to type it in the laptop. But to prove my dedication to both illustrious detectives, I will summon all the motivation and energy and post the said article here. Pardon my excessive penchant for L and Sherlock but as much as I'm both proud and ashamed of this, I have no such conceivable excuse to justify my reasons for being such a whore for these fictional characters, nor do I wish to attempt to explain myself clearly. But I will allow this article to speak for me.

Since both intellects are men of action during the night, they both exhibit lazy and languid manners during the day. But once motivated and excited by a discovery, they become very brave and confident. Combine that energy to their faculties of intellectual brilliance and you have a case solved.Collapse )
